Acquired brain injury
Specialist assessment and therapy following traumatic brain injury and complex neurological conditions including Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson's disease and dementia - with a particular specialist interest in frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Complex and high acuity presentations across swallowing and communication.

Complex communication
Specialist communication assessment and therapy for adults with aphasia, and clients with cerebral palsy and progressive neurological conditions. Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) to support clients with complex communication needs.
Complex swallowing
Assessment and management of complex dysphagia including supporting clients with risk feeding and autonomous decision-making around eating and drinking. Coordination and interpretation of videofluoroscopy (VFSS) and FEES to guide clinical management and support medical teams.
Voice
Specialist voice assessment and therapy for adults with neurological and non-neurological voice disorders. Certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD) — an evidence-based intensive voice therapy programme specifically designed for people with Parkinson's disease.
Speech
Assessment and therapy for adults with acquired speech disorders including dysarthria and apraxia of speech, across a range of neurological presentations.
Nichola works closely with support coordinators, families and multidisciplinary teams to optimise therapy outcomes, build capacity and ensures collaborative care for every client.
